1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display (LCD), and more particularly, to an LCD, which can be disposed between an array substrate and a color filter substrate by using an active-matrix driving method. 2. Description of the Related Art FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of an array substrate of a conventional LCD using a simple matrix method. The conventional LCD has a plurality of data lines D1 to Dm and a plurality of gate lines G1 to Gn intersecting each other. Pixels are arranged at each intersection of the data lines and the gate lines. Each of the pixels includes a thin film transistor (TFT) T. The TFT T includes a gate electrode connected to the gate line G, a semiconductor layer formed on a gate insulating layer provided on the gate electrode, source/drain electrodes connected to the data lines, and a pixel electrode connected to the drain electrode. The TFT T is turned on or off in response to a scanning signal applied to the gate electrode. A storage capacitor S is disposed at the intersection of the data line D and the gate line G. The storage capacitor S includes a portion of the gate electrode as a first electrode, a semiconductor layer provided on the gate insulating layer as a second electrode, and a pixel electrode as a third electrode. As shown in FIG. 1, the gate electrode of the TFT T is connected to the gate line G. The semiconductor layer and the source/drain electrode of the TFT T are connected to the data line D and a drain electrode of the TFT T, respectively. The pixel electrode is connected to the drain electrode of the TFT T and is divided into a plurality of sub-pixels. When the TFT T is turned on in response to a scanning signal applied to the gate electrode, an electric charge stored in the storage capacitor S is applied to the pixel electrode of the TFT T. In the LCD shown in FIG. 1, the number of the data lines D is substantially equal to the number of the gate lines G. Accordingly, the LCD is designed to be applied to a high-resolution display device. However, since the conventional LCD having the structure shown in FIG. 1 employs the simple matrix method, a cross-talk phenomenon may be generated at a portion where the data lines D and the gate lines G cross each other.
